- July 11 this year is the 19th sailing day of our country, and also the implementation day of World Maritime Day in our country. Recently, the Ministry of Transport issued the "Notice on Launching China Navigation Day 2023"(hereinafter referred to as the "Notice") to make relevant arrangements for this year's Navigation Day activities, further enhance the influence of Navigation Day activities, vigorously promote the navigation spirit of the new era, and promote the construction of a maritime power, a transportation power, and a shipping power.
The theme of this year's sailing day is "Sailing New Silk Road, Striving for a New Pattern". According to the Notice, on July 11, the launching ceremony of 2023 China Navigation Day Forum and National Navigation Day Week will be held in Cangzhou, Hebei Province. The Organizing Committee of China Navigation Day will issue the announcement of China Navigation Day 2023 to the whole society. Chinese civil ships and non-Chinese ships owned or operated by Chinese shipping enterprises will be fully flagged, and relevant sea-related institutions will refer to ships. The flag is hung in the same way as the flag. From July 9 to 15, a series of activities of China Navigation Day Week in 2023 will be held in Cangzhou, including China Navigation Day Main Forum and Special Forum, China Navigation Academic Annual Meeting, Navigation Science and Technology Expo and National Navigation Science Popularization Week.
In order to give full play to the role of the national and comprehensive carrier of China Navigation Day Week and the international exchange and cooperation platform of China Navigation Day Forum, in addition to the theme activities and characteristic series activities, this year's Navigation Day activities will also organize a series of activities such as media publicity, maritime science popularization and mass commemoration, celebration, sports and entertainment activities during the Navigation Day Week, as well as maritime museums and exhibition halls. The maritime science popularization education base will also be open to the public.
This year's Navigation Day will popularize navigation culture, carry forward navigation spirit, expand navigation science popularization, cultivate and improve national marine awareness and navigation quality, and stimulate teenagers 'interest in loving the ocean and maritime cause through colorful and various activities.
